Hong Kong Youth Science & Technology Innovation Competition 2016-2017

The objectives of the competition are to:

a. strengthen students’ creativity, innovative and practical skills in order to overcome challenges in the future;
b. stimulate students’ imagination in scientific research and invention, and to allow them to put their ideas into practice;
c. arouse students’ interests and raise their standard in science, and to nurture young science talents for the society.

A team of S5 students of our school investigated the formation of metal hydride induced by photocatalysis. They have found that the leftovers can help transformation of metal hydride. Another team of S5 students investigated the natural products-stabilized nano-silver in the detection of proteinuria.
