Congratulations to our 10A student, LUI Man-hin, Benjamin (6C) in obtaining the Charles Frankland Moore Award 2010. The award was presented to the best academic performer in the 2010 Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE). Significantly, such academic honour is the first and the last to our school with the phase out of the HKCEE in Hong Kong's education system.
The Hong Kong Sino-British Fellowship Trust Scholars' Association was formed by a group of scholars who had studied in Britain and had themselves received scholarships set up for Chinese students since the 1950s. The Award Presentation Ceremony took place at the University of Hong Kong on January 13, 2011. The award was presented by Mr. Andrew Seaton, Consul-General, British Consulate-General, Hong Kong.
Our Principal, Mrs. Nancy Chan, the former Principal Mr. Ho Yue Shun and parents of Lui Man Hin were invited to share in the glory and pride of Benjamin LUI. It was a very happy coincidence that two old boys (1971 graduates) Dr. LEUNG Yum-kwong and Dr. MAK Kan-hing were also in the party and they celebrated the event together. |
