World Scholar’s Cup Global Round 2018

More than 3000 scholars from over 50 countries joined the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round. This year’s Global Round was from 16th August to 21st August in Melbourne, Australia, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The participants experienced scavenger hunts, keynote speeches, panel discussions, the signature Scholar’s Ball, and, of course, all the competitive and community-building events that drew our students to the World Scholar’s Cup in the first place, from the Debate Showcase to the Scholar’s Bowl. Despite the intense competition, our students rose to the occasion and received innumerable awards in recognition of their excellent speaking and debating skills and their in-depth knowledge of different domains. It is also the first time for all the teams to be qualified for the Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale University in November. Their amazing results speaks volumes for the hard work and preparation that they made in the past few months. Here are their results:
