The Chunky Onion drama team came to our school and staged an entertaining drama show “Romeo and Juliet” on 4 February 2016. The romantic tragedy was transformed into a hilarious comedy. The music and dances were greatly admired. The whole audience was involved in this highly interactive play, and the applause was deafening when three students were ‘recruited’ as choir members and three as servants who also acted on the stage. This adaptation definitely aroused students’ interest in one of the most famous Shakespeare’s masterpiece and English drama performance.
