The Hong Kong Chemistry Olympiad for Secondary Schools is a project learning competition jointly organised by the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education (HKASME), the Hong Kong Chemical Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry. It aims at promoting the interest of students in learning Chemistry and developing students’ problem solving, communication and science process skills through project learning.
The chemistry research team of our school comprising S3 and S5 students who investigated the natural products-stabilized nano-silver in the detection of proteinuria was awarded the Second Runner-up.
