The objectives of the competition are to: 
a.strengthen students’ creativity, innovative and practical skills in order to overcome challenges in the future;
b.stimulate students’ imagination in scientific research and invention, and to allow them to put their ideas into practice;
c.arouse students’ interests and raise their standard in science, and to nurture young science talents for the society.

A team of S4 students of our school investigated the Visible light-induced Rust-catalyzed water splitting for hydrogen generation. They have found that the glycerol water mixture in the presence of rust can be transformed into hydrogen gas effectively.
