This remarkable accolade commemorates our 75th anniversary as the dedicated sponsor of the 5th Hong Kong Group, recognizing the School's unwavering commitment to youth development and the Scout Movement.

Since the re-establishment of our scout troop in 1950 following the post-war reopening of the school, King's College has proudly worked hand-in-hand with the 5th Hong Kong Group. For 75 continuous years, this partnership has successfully nurtured generations of students, equipping them with invaluable leadership skills, resilience, and a strong sense of community service.

This Gold Commendation is a testament to the dedication of our past and present scouters (all of whom are alumni, beautifully symbolizing the passing of the torch to the next generation) and the school administration. We look forward to continuing this proud tradition and seeing the scouting spirit thrive at King's College for many more years to come!
