The Scouts and their leaders of King’s College (5th Hong Kong Group) continued a service tradition of over twenty years at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, showing commitment, civic responsibility and a caring attitude towards the community.

This year, they served as the Crowd Control Team for the 10K races, helping to maintain safety, order and smooth arrangements for runners and spectators on race day, and assisted in the distribution of runners’ packs at Kai Tak Sports Park over several days.

Through these experiences, students practiced positive values such as perseverance, respect and care for others. This activity also embodies “learning to serve, serving to learn”, promoting whole-person development and nurturing students to become informed and responsible members of our society.
